Our HVAs can do almost everything an in-house medical assistant can do, except in-person patient care (e.g. ear lavages, TB skin tests, vaccinations, etc.).
Rigorous Training

We train our HVAs in medical terminology, foundations in primary care and other specialties, basic pathology, pharmacotherapy, medical scribing, insurance verification, refill requests, and prior authorizations.

Our HVAs are HIPAA-trained and graduates of Kareo University for EMR training.

On top of that, our HVAs also receive specialized training and coaching in empathy, due diligence, sense of urgency, and effective communication.
Criminal Background Checked

Our HVAs have undergone fingerprinting and criminal background checks by the Philippines' National Bureau of Investigation's (NBI) to ensure your peace of mind. This confirms their identity, authenticates their existence in the country and checks for past and present criminal proceedings.

Our Story
BloomBright was founded by a medical professional who has seen too many preventable errors in healthcare, particularly from the clinical support staff (i.e. medical assistants). We understand that medical information can be complicated. We also know that mistakes can be costly and detrimental to both patients and medical practices. These medical errors became more personal to our founder when a family member became sick. From wrong medication doses, incorrect diagnostic tests entered, to a crucial referral that was delayed. These dangerous encounters galvanized our founder into action and a mission was birthed: to develop skilled, diligent and empathetic HVAs. BloomBright HVAs are determined, within their roles, to assist doctors in safeguarding patient lives. It is our primary goal to provide exceptional healthcare virtual assistance with due diligence, accuracy, empathy, and sense of urgency as cornerstones.
